We are proud to present the
Chicago Cubs and MLB officially licensed and approved music CD, "Take Me Out To A Cubs Game." This CD blends the excitement and anticipation felt at Wrigley Field through sounds and songs featuring old and new Cub players and the great broadcasters that have been so much a part of the history of one of America's greatest sports teams.
The Chicago Cubs® franchise is one of the most storied in all of sports. The songs on the CD cover 100 years of Cubs history, including "Bonehead Merkle," about the 1908 base-running blunder that led to the Cubs making the playoffs and winning the World Series; Steve Goodman's fan-favorite, "Go Cubs Go"; Terry Cashman’s “Talkin’ Baseball (Baseball and the Cubs) 2008”; Harry Caray's final performance at Wrigley Field of “Take Me Out To The Ball Game”. There are two new songs, "A Letter to Harry", a poignant heart-felt song written to Harry Caray on the 10 year anniversary of his death and a song called "Fukudome, Bring It Home" about the new Japanese addition to the Cubs.
